This 4x4x4 puzzle has a unique and simple setup. Each piece is made up of 4 bars that are made up of 4 blocks. There are 4 pieces in each puzzle and each piece is a different color. To put together this puzzle you randomly place the bars into position one layer at a time, placed each layer vertically or horizontally. Each color bar should appear once in each layer.
The design of this puzzle is to promote creative thinking for 3rd grade and older students as they try out different layouts to create and think about how to solve this puzzle.
The 2cm blocks are used as a design tool and 1.5 cm cubes are used to make the final puzzle.
