First you start with 6 identical windmill shaped pieces. Use the different colors to identify the puzzle layout. Then form a 5x5x5 cube without the 8 corner blocks and 12 middle blocks. Then randomly join the 8 corner blocks and 12 middle blocks to each puzzle, this interlocks the puzzle pieces together. Then take this 5x5x5 puzzle apart revealing 6 puzzle pieces. Then mix these puzzle pieces together and then try to assemble this puzzle. You can also try to change the windmill shape and randomly join the 8 corner blocks and 12 middle blocks.
Use the 2cm as a design tool and the 1.5 cm cubes to make the final puzzle.
